Our Deepest Fear

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear
is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness,
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually who are we not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people
won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine as children do.
We were born to make manifest
the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And when we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

HOLY COW!!!!

Holy cow has it been busy lately. The Wednesday before the 19th of July, my parents and I went down to the Navajo Reservation for my cousin's traditional Navajo wedding. It was interesting. I got to get all dressed up and stuff for the wedding in my traditional clothes. The link goes to my sister's Smugmug account where I posted the pictures. Be warned, there is pictures of when we butchered. Oh, ya, we butchered a sheep and then put the meat in a stew we served at the reception. It was good stew. The little girl that I have the most pictures of is my cousins little girl. She is so cute! There were LDS missionaries there and they said that they felt the Spirit present. I didn't, but then again I had the camera and I wasn't paying attention. But, it makes sense, because I could really tell from what I have seen of Shelly and J.D. together that they really belong together. You don't always feel that with people. But he treats her with all the respect due, and you can tell that they love each other SO MUCH.
Kay, we got great news that weekend!!!!!! My brother and his wife are expecting a little boy in November! They kept it a secret this whole time. Now, my parents will have 6 boys (after Andrea and Leigh deliver) and two girls. Great!!!!
Friday, I marched in a parade in Emery-the town, not the county. It was HOT! Then, later that night, my brother and sister in law and their daughter came down. We went to the fireworks in Emery and then I stayed at the dance. I had fun. The next day, I marched in two parades. Cleveland, and Elmo. I was about ready to fall over and die!!! After the parade, I ate 8 otter pops. I could hav eaten more, but I didn't take more and they kinda' melted in the car. But they were good. After, we went out to the Clevlan Lloyd Dinosaur Quary and I went on a little hike. It was supposedly about a mile and a fourth. Who knows. The signs didn't all correspond. K, now picture this. I was wearing only a wife beater, green nylon shorts, black socks and shoes, and my hair was a mess from having to wear a uniform hat, which is really sweaty! When we got home, I turned on some music and took a nap on the living room floor. Yes, I know that there are softer places to nap, but acutally, in my family, we tend to lay on the floor quite a lot. We have pictures of my laying with someone on the floor. We would just take a nap. And we like it.
This morning, as we were rehearsing in band, I have band at seven in the morning, this beatle comes into the room. Now, when I say that this thing was huge, I am not exhagerating. It was about an inch and a half long. Dark brown and disgusting! My friend took it outside and then about ten minutes later, it came back in. One of my other friends took it outside again and he said that the first time he tried to set it down, it tried to come back to the building! Gross!!!!!
